Hi, I’m AnnMarie — the imperfect, slightly anxious, sometimes-too-honest soul behind Gospel & Grass Stains. I’m not a pastor, a theologian, or someone with all the answers. I’m just a woman who loves Jesus, the smell of coffee in the morning, and the way sunlight filters through trees when you're finally still enough to notice it.

I’ve spent a lot of time feeling like I didn’t quite fit — in church, in friend groups, in faith circles. I’ve asked hard questions. I’ve wrestled with doubt. I’ve been the one who wasn’t sure if I was "Christian enough" to show up. And yet, every time, God met me anyway — in the quiet, in the chaos, in wildflower fields and second chances.

I created Gospel & Grass Stains for people like me. People who want faith without fear, community without conditions, and Jesus without the pressure to perform. This is a place where anyone can come — no matter your past, your questions, your sin, your story, or your belief system.

You don’t have to clean yourself up to be here. You don’t have to know the right verses or have a “good” church background. You just have to show up — with your heart open and maybe your coffee in hand.

Because I believe this:
God is big enough for our questions. Brave enough for our doubts. And loving enough to welcome us all — just as we are.
